Requirements
Who Can Join Little Dog Daycare
Clear entry rules keep every pup comfortable and the group safe.
- Size: 18″ tall or under, measured paw-to-back
- Age: at least 4 months old, with the second set of puppy vaccinations complete
- Meet & Greet: required before enrolment so your dog, you and Tracie are all comfortable
- Waiver: a signed waiver is required before joining play
- Vaccines: Rabies, DHPP/DA2PP and Bordetella from a veterinarian
- Spay / neuter: at the proper age for your dog
A Typical Day
Routine Your Little Dog Can Count On
Days are active but paced — play, rest, meals and supervision throughout open hours.
- Drop-off — Mon–Fri from 7am, Sat from 8am at 14 Balsam St
- Settling in — greetings, a drink of water and time to explore at their own pace
- Supervised play & enrichment — human and canine interaction in size-appropriate groups
- Lunch — dogs who eat at daycare are fed separately so no one steals a meal
- Rest windows — quiet spots so little dogs can recharge between bursts of play
- Pick-up — by 6pm weekdays / 4pm Saturday, happy and tired
Mon–Fri 7am–6pm Sat 8am–4pm Sun — closed apart from overnight drop-off & pickups at daycare

What size dogs are accepted for little dog daycare?
Little dog daycare accepts dogs 18″ tall (paw-to-back) or under. Every dog does a Meet & Greet and a signed waiver before joining play.
What is the Meet & Greet?
An initial interview between the pup, the owners, and Dogs R Us Collingwood. It makes sure the pup is comfortable here, the owners are comfortable, and the pup is happy being handled by us.
Does the dog have to be a certain age?
Your pup must be at least 4 months old and have completed their second set of puppy vaccinations to join our daycare program.
My dog eats lunch. Can he have lunch at daycare?
Absolutely — and rest assured every dog eats separately, so no other dog will eat his food.
Are vaccinations required?
Yes. We require vaccination from a veterinarian for Rabies, DHPP/DA2PP (Distemper, Hepatitis/Adenovirus, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza), and Bordetella.
Do you offer overnight boarding for little dogs?
Yes. Overnight boarding is available for little dogs only at $75 +hst for every 24 hours and includes a full daycare day. Drop-off and pick-up are at 14 Balsam St.
